Description

SILKY Hayate Pole Saw

A true professional heavy duty aluminum pole saw - the pole saw of choice by professionals. The Hayate pole saw has rigid aluminum poles that quickly extend to desired cutting length. The base pole has a comfortable rubber grip and has a pole-end shock absorber to protect the pole if the pole slightly impacts the ground. The telescopic design has two locking systems – a spring loaded locking button and friction clamps which work in tandem to ensure a strong and stable pole extension. The Hayate utilises Silky's proprietary 4-RETSUME teeth technology which leads to faster, more aggressive and easier pruning. The aggressive curved blade cuts efficiently with less effort, is harder than conventional blades, and maintains a superior wear resistant cutting edge. The taper ground profile reduces drag and directs more usable energy to the cutting edge. The ultra-sharp non-set tooth design cuts quickly leaving a silky smooth surface. Also features an optional replaceable sickle blade for small branches. The Hayate is manufactured with high visibility colors and comes equipped with a new advanced design sheath with a built-in carrying handle. It is ideal for pruning large branches at higher position without ever climbing a ladder. These saws can easily be used for rougher cutting and heavier tasks as they can rip-cut, cross cut and slant-cut. The teeth are not hardened, allowing you to sharpen them if you need to. The upper sickle is used to cut vines; the lower one - to undercut bark allowing a clean cut without damaging the tree. The aluminum alloy extension pole is oval shaped, giving precise control to the direction of the saw blade (especially important for high cutting) and also giving strength and rigidity to the pole, reducing bending to the minimum.

Safety considerations necessitates that the user wear a hard hat and eye protection at all times. Since the saws can cut quite heavy branches, the user should take care to stay clear of any falling material. This is the finest telescoping pole saw available on the market today

Mirai-Me Smooth Cutting - The teeth of the future! Blades have precision ground, razor sharp teeth with 4 cutting angles along their length. They leave an especially smooth surface after cutting and are ideal for pruning, greatly reducing the risk of infection. They can rip-cut, cross-cut and slant-cut.

Picture

Non-set Teeth - Blades are made from SK-4 high carbon steel and taper ground i.e. thicker at the tooth edge, thinner at the back of the blade. This taper reduces resistance giving smoother, easier, faster cutting performance.

Sharpenable - Because impulse-hardening is not applied, the blades marked with this symbol can be sharpened with a file.

Electroless Nickel Plating - The new coating process allows the entire blade, even the teeth, to be coated. This provides superior wear and rust resistance for improved cutting performance and extended blade life.
